feedback on design

Personally I'm not a fan of this kind of design with the cheesy girls and garish colours, and it doesn't look that different to all the other posters it will be pasted alongside on every available bit of construction fencing, but I have a feeling that might be exactly what the client wants and exactly what the customers of these places are attracted to, sadly, so if that's what you were aiming for, yeah, it's exactly that.

Your correct in saying this is exactly what the client wants.

If am honest I don't actually think putting girls on artwork works, not for club posters anyway.. it's been the tradition for the last decade or something and it's the same over and over.. I do think that something a little bit more pro-ocotive could be done. However bar owners and promoters don't want to step outside their comfort zone, shame.

Oky doky, so maybe, if you don't think it works, it's worth having a stab at doing something a bit different and trying to convince the client that your idea will work - you're the designer after all. There are certainly many points as to why something different would work as well - the fact that it will stand out against instead of blend in with all the others is just the beginning, and I reckon with a good enough 'sales pitch', they might, just might, be swayed. That said, have you already tried?!

Hence why it is our job as the designer to try and make our clients step outside of their comfort zone by offering other possibilities with a brilliant explanation as to why it'd work just as well if not better than what they are used to.
