redesigned homepage

you could set your blog up as http : //timmp.co.uk (spaces are to stop it being a link) if you wanted rather than purchasing a new domain/hosting...

I do like it.
If I'm honest however I don't think it should be 1 page, it takes too long to load the first time due to a bottleneck in your http requests and from a SEO point of view as well you are shooting your self in the foot.

I agree that a sans-serif font for your main content area is the way to go, and increase your line-height it will make it look a lot better, and make it a lot more easier to read.

IMO the home page should stop after the home and about me section, and you should then remove the back to the top link.

In IE there is some mental spacing going on with the paragraphs in the first section, and the padding on the lists is massive on the left between the list style type and the wording.

I would take out ! your freindly from the title.
It takes up too much room and waters it down to much TBH.
If some one searchers for you as timmp as well it would match better without the excalmation mark due to the fact that with it the word is timmp! not timmp, 2 differant terms.

I would add a h1 tag around the home and about me header, I would change it to A little bit about me, Timmp a web designer based in Birmingham, as that will help you to rank better and IMO sounds better.

But IMO the most important thing is to seperate it from a proformance and SEO point of view, TBH.
