    Gobbledegoop

Hi Did you sort this out? I was trying to remember where I'd seen something similar. I was at my mum's when I remembered. She has an elderly sofa which is covered with that fabric that was popular a few years ago which looks like it has calligraphy over it, only it isn't really. So, in the...

    Design Critique Needed

I like the clear layout on the new homepage. Could the colours be a bit brighter? It looks slightly faded. Zoe

    Wedding branding & stationery

Wow, that's really amazing. I did some wedding stationery as a wedding present for a friend a year or so ago. It was really simple, nowhere near as detailed as yours, and I still spent ages on it so I really appreciate how much work you put in. Well worth it though. Zoe

    Still Learning

Hi These are really good. You've chosen some lovely angles. I'm not a professional photographer but both my parents were so I spent my early years hanging around waiting for my parents to take the perfect photograph. Can you imagine what family holidays were like . My father wrote...

I could send you a sample of my handwriting. That'd probably do the job. Most people say that they can't read it.

Doing my first tax return, brain melting, need help

Sorry, I've not been around for a while so I'm a bit late replying. You might have sorted it out by now but if not, here are a few pointers. Bear in mind that I'm not a tax expert and it's over 20 years since I did any tax exams. It may well pay to you employ a good tax advisor. Even though...

    Simple website

Well I've passed on details of all who answered. Thanks to you all. He'll get in touch (when he gets round to it). Ralph, they're motoring magazines, yet another reason for me not to get involved (yawn). Cheers Zz

    Simple website

Thanks, Sunburn, for tidying me up. I've passed on all the details of those who replied. Thank you both. Anagoge, the answer is, I don't know. It's not a project that I'm involved in at all. I just said I'd find a designer. Cheers Zoe

    Graphic Desiger Logo?

Personally I hate seeing a proper noun without a capital initial. Perhaps it's just my age. It may be trendy but if you want something more professional, then at least get the English right. Otherwise I think it looks good. I like the Think it See it motto. Zoe

    Simple website

Hi A friend of mine is looking for a really simple website to sell magazines. He'll probably only need a page or two but may need some way of taking payment. Anybody out there fancy a little job? PM me your contact details and I'll put the two of you in touch with each other. Zoe

    Web Design Feedback

Are you male by any chances? Why do I think that? Oh yes, it must be the fabulous looking half naked, clearly airbrushed model. What does that image say to me? It says "What hope have I got of ever looking like that? No point me going there, think I'll just stick to my usual place, the one...

Freelancers - Trading under a company name

Hi Sorry to be boringly legalistic but on no account hold yourself out to be a limited company unless you actually set up a limited company (through Companies House and be prepared to comply with their requirements). It is actually illegal to pretend to be a company when you aren't. Having said...

Art exhibition - how to price work?

Hi I'm exhibiting at the Wylye Valley Art Trail in May. I have some original art work that I want to sell but I've no idea how much to charge so I was thinking of having a sort of silent auction. I was going to put a sheet for each piece where people can leave their contact details and their...

    Chocolate Branding

Bit of a late reply but if you're into relaxing then you need a bed, bath, armchair or at least a cushion as part of your branding.

How do you prove your work time?

15 minutes, wow, what a doddle. Most accountants have to keep timesheets for every 6 minutes! Don't complain about completing a timesheet. It really is the best way to cost your jobs.
