Word Alternative

Hi guys. Need some urgent advice.

A client has asked me to design a questionnaire for them in Word. My copy of Word died some time ago, so I've been looking around for an Open Source alternative. However I'm only running Mac OS 10.3.9 on my machine, and a lot of the open source word processors aren't compatible with my old system. Does anyone know of a decent, compatible Word alternative I can download?

OpenOffice or NeoOffice are the ones that come to mind but I don't know if they're 10.3 compatible...

id go for Open Office myself

for a mac I'd go neo office, for windows its open office. Theres better support for each os respectively
