- photo retouching
- drawing/editing maps
- analysing, typesetting and formatting timetable and other information
- assisting with website design
- leaflet layout
- poster and advert design
- preparing documents for production.
While specific experience is not required, we are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
- a solid knowledge of the workings of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign),as well as Quark Xpress and the Mac operating system in general
- basic knowledge of web design in HTML (mostly using Dreamweaver)
- an interest in the public transport industry and a willingness to learn – about buses, trains, or anything else required
- the ability to design intelligently, analysing and interpreting information in the process
- the ability to work quickly and accurately, with an eye for detail and calmness under pressure
- an interest in maps, geography and UK tourist destinations.
