Hi Folks

I trying a sub domain of my website to try and focus on a particular term.

I am a web designer and as you know it a tad competitive out there.

The sub-domain & term are the same i.e the-key-phrase.mydomain.co.uk

The main page in the sub is named, titled, description, content all around the key phrase.

It's all well worded without any stuffing etc.

Does anyone know if this is viewed by Google & other SE's as good or bad?

Thanks

Hi Boss

Just trying stuff.

Have had a page about the key phrase, but didn't start it right.

This occurred to me and that it might work.

What I also need are a few back links, but I'm fressh back to the world of SEO after five years in another career and I just don'y know anyone and my customers are all in un related sites and as yet un ranked (PR).

So kind of fishing for possibilities and this seemed to fit the idea...

Just saw your a printer, not bad cost for 1000 business cards. Full colour both sides, 350 gsm laminated card. Delivered to the UK. Will be interested as a Reseller, have just applied thru your site. I often get asked for print jobs. Used to use SoloPress, but they've lost the edge on cost over many products.

Do you have a pack of samples?

400gsm :icon_wink:

Yeah just request a sample pack via the website.

I'd be inclined to think that keyphrase.maindomain.com is better than maindomain.com/keyphrase but maybe worth testing. I have also heard that having domains with different ip addresses is better too. God - it's all a grey science and I think trying out and monitoring is a good way forward.
