The cost of undercharging to our industry!

As a follow up to the thread in the logo section called Design Too Cheap I'd like to post a link to an article which makes for very good reading.

Its an American article but it is very much relevant to creative types all over the world.

I would urge anyone who is charging very low rates for their creative services to read this article and then look again at their pricing structure :)

It is a large article, but please take the time to read it. You will be glad you did:

Educate Lowballers and Stop Lowballing

Not looked at the article yet (looks good and intensive from a quick glance).

It's appalling that both designers and receiving businesses look at quoting/demanding silly low prices, there are costs to running a business and those costs are not met by trying to outbid each other for 1 or so dollar projects. It does no credit to the industry which is already saturated.
