Talented Graphic Designer/UI Designer required to join internet startup project.
We have a core web application already developed and are seeking a talented and ambitious designer to join our small business team. This is not a salaried position, we are offering a stake in the business as remuneration.
We have a development timeline of around 6 months to bring our project to market and have secured financial backing for marketing, running cost and deployment into 2 key market sectors.
Our designer must be able to join our team and hit the ground running, adding immediate value to our team by developing our brand presence and associated user interface for our web application, which is currently under development.
Our project has a clear route to financial reward and will be explained in full to suitable applicants.
If you have an entreprenuerial streak, design skills that are second to none and a desire to be part of a company in which you are a key stakeholder and provide direction then we would like to hear from you.
Location is not important for this role, we are based in South Yorkshire but you can be anywhere in the country.
You could potentially be a contract designer seeking involvement in a project of your own or even working full time already and able to spare time outside of regular office hours.
It is important to note that this is not a paid role initially. We are offering an equal stake in our business to the chosen candidate. It is an exciting project with secured business angel investment and we want to find a dynamic designer to complete our team.
Key skills for this role are Photoshop, Illustrator (or your chosen design packages) and some demonstrable experience in development of brand logos/presence and web interface. Our software is in a very common, dynamic and growing UK market sector and it will be important to achieve differentiation from our peers.
We have no direct competition in this marketplace, however significant challenges lie ahead, some of which will be addressed by a great user experience and a world class user interface.
