SEO Tips

Lol.... but the guy who has asked to review his site for SEO tips has a site which is now redirecting to a web hosting service.
 
Is anyone else getting hit with an unbelievable amount of spam from SEOers offering their services?

It's all total crud, too,

Yeah all the time and by phone, I don't know why they bother to be honest, the e-mails are always poorly written. You would have to be an idiot to go with one of these companies!! (or really not have a clue)

Yep, we get loads of it too. It is awlays the four same e-mails sent many times as well. You e-mail them back and ask to be removed from their mailing list and then they send it again but from a different name. very annoying.

Presumably there must be idiots out there who fall for this crap. Worrying.

Myself, I firmly believe most email marketing is a a complete waste of time - regardless of its quality.

The only stuff I read are news digests that I've subscribed to -- everything else is binned.

The marketing logic is so screwy it beggars belief: "I'm going to piss you off so much that you will want to buy some low-rent SEO from me."

Yes - almost daily. Spurious SEO companies offering thousands of directory submissions, high PR backlinks and even hundreds of retweets.

The sooner Google evolves to a point where the services that these idiots offer become completely redundant, the better.
 
Another press photographer phoned me up once and asked why my site was always coming up first on google in relevant searches... couldn't resist the answer "I sleep with my web-designer:icon_blushing:"

I since married him...
