Could increase the site width, looks really small on a widescreen monitor

Don't like the text converted to an image at the top of the page, it looks a bit cheap/last minute.

I couldn't find the guide? Just a directory of what could be either pubs or restaurants (there's no definition between the two).

It all looks a bit tight and crammed in to me. No breathing space for your text at all. I like the image in the header, but as Dave said above, the text converted into image looks pretty lazy. All of the text on your page is the same type and size. Try mixing it up. The ingredients on the right don't need to be the same font or size as the main content text. Give the whole thing more space. Widen it out a bit and just give yourself some more room.
