Hi there,

I'm in my final year of a graphic design degree, and we have been asked to do a project on personal promotion, and I am finding it hard to think of a good way to sell myself, other than the obvious (pens, pencils and magnets)

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what would be effective or what they have seen themselves over the years that could inspire me.

You want to find something that will be useful and sit on a desk for a while. . .
Calendar - either your stunning photos or designs
Box of sweets/chocolates
A notepad with pithy sayings/great images - wirobound/good cover

You want to get across your personality and skills so something you can really put some different design work into is going to be best. I also imagine that you want to keep the cost down(!) so think of things that are cost effective to produce in small quantities as well. With digital print you can do that.
