Hello,

This logo is a personal project. The logo is of my Design Studio.
It was used for my Business Card.

I started it out, wanting it to be something like a watercolor/brushed logo... did succeed in it... and I guess in the end made it look like a fish... do not know if that is good or bad... I used it as It felt good to me.

Opinions appreciated

I like the font used for the main body of your name.

I'm not sure about having brush strokes at both ends of your business name tbh. Maybe do the 'k' in the same font as the rest and keep the 'c' as a brush stroke.

IMO, if you do part of a name in a different style or shape then it should still be legible and easy to read as a word. I'm not sure it is atm.

though the cards have been printed out... the next batch could be changed I guess..

lol, you should have asked for the critique prior to getting the cards printed.
 
I think he's changed the branding on his website anyway. So I'd get some new ones done to match the web.
 
Love the Logo, don't see a fish anywhere! Though i think i must agree with Tony on the 'K'. Have you tried changing the colour of the strokes on the 'K' to see what that would like? Maybe to grey!
 
I prefer the above logo to the web one, which (as it popped up in safaris grid view at uni today) someone else mistook for gay porn.

I like the design - although i felt it quite dark and "overwhelming" - i cant comment on it being mistaken for gay porn because iv never watched it lol (wac!!)
Another thing to consider - and something that i always think about - you're future employer maybe a small business running a low-spec computer system without flash, so maybe have some sort of content - even just a few words to an external HTML page with some images of your work on - just in case they don't have flash installed.

nothing to say even now.... i guess...time for a redesign....

Actually lainQ there isnt any flash in there... everything there is jquery.
