Need a logo/character designed

Never tried using this method for getting work done before, hope it works ;)

We are a small UK based company (North London) and are looking to get a character logo designed, was have something in mind.

It would be used on stationary, a website (also needed) and maybe some type of press.

We are wanting to advertise a different side of our business, as I said above we are a small UK based business.

We need a logo/characer... think Mazuma mobile / bob the builder / hospital-doc-nurse etc.
