Logo for a Sound Designer

Hi all,

Been working on another project, this time a logo/identity for a sound designer called Carolina Luna. I've made a play on her surname 'Luna' (which is latin for 'moon') by making a 'C' but also a lunar eclipse then placed a speaker in the centre for the sound design affiliation.

Nice idea but at a scale any size smaller than the current image.. it wouldn't be evident what it actually is. Its not 100% at the current size but the concept is nice. Id keep messing around with it, maybe make a vector logo but keeping the same concept.

I'd recommend making it from solid shapes. I think you're onto something, but as it is, it won't work as a logo

Thanks for both replies, very helpful, totally see what you mean, (fruitbat) my original idea was to draw a detailed vector speaker cone then incorporate the 'C' around but I had a camera and speakers nearby at the time so it was easier to do this.

So I'll work on some purely vector stuff but on a more minimal scale using shapes as suggested (Paul)

Thats totally all you need you could make the logo and make it well from using simple circles x

I agree with Paul.. logo should be as simple as possible whilst still keeping ur clear idea - I love the idea!
