As a Junior Creative Artworker/Graphic Designer, you’ll be working predominantly under the supervision of the Design & Marketing Manager, producing planning and marketing materials for Cityscape. Cityscape’s output of work is broad so you will need to be comfortable working across diverse graphical requirements including print, digital, photography, film and interactive (such as websites and apps). You should be a good all-rounder and be able to demonstrate strong typographical and page layout skills, as well show the experience, creativity and ability to quickly understand and develop from any brief.

DAY TO DAY TASKS


  • Creating townscape assessment documents (eg, Townscape & Visual Impact Assessments) for high profile planning applications as well as other image-focused supplementary planning documents and reports
  • Producing supporting materials such as custom view maps, tables and other figures
  • Sourcing relevant Cityscape marketing materials for presentations and proposals
  • Assisting with the maintenance and organization of the aerial footage stock library
  • Assisting with updating social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin
  • Adding and helping to generate new and exciting content for the Cityscape website
  • General day-to-day graphics department requirements
  • Editing and processing raw footage for delivery

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS – YOU SHOULD…


  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Predominantly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Be able to proof read and generally ensure accurate and high-quality work
  • Be happy to work across print, digital, web formats
  • Have an excellent eye for detail

BONUS POINTS


  • Experience with producing material for web and mobile and a knowledge of HTML5, Javascript and CSS
  • Understanding of UX/UI design, specifically with Flash (AS3) and Autodesk Scaleform
  • Sector experience is highly preferred, though not essential for exceptional people
  • Previous experience producing supplementary docs for planning applications (ie. DAS, etc)
  • Background or understanding of the architectural planning application process
  • Experience with creating motion graphics
