Integration of Multiple Merchant Payment Gateways

I am setting up a niche market affiliate website - catalogue style, the problem I am encountering is that with multiple merchants there are multiple payment routes and only one product can be purchased at any one time as there is no shopping basket for my actual site. I am not doing aStore (Amazon) or similar store widgets and am adding the products individually primarily to generate strong content and long tail URLs. Wondering whether a shopping cart and single payment process could be developed giving customers a full shopping experience online before going through to purchase. This would necessitate xml or similar integration with existing merchant payment structures.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Natasha, for multiple payment gateways I would recommend using an opensource ecommerce platform like OpenCart as they already come with all the gateways you will need as standard. We work with creatives as a quality UK outsource and if you already have a design we can integrate these into Opencart for around £300-£500 or if you know your way around HTML and CSS you can easily modify themes in Opencart.

Magento is another option but can be a nightmare to theme!
