Hiding design behind shape

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help please? I have an arch design and I would like the leaf design to be only showing behind the arch i.e. on the top left and top right side of the arch and keep the green area clear (for other text and graphic).

What would be the best way to do this? Any guidance or tutorial videos would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

We have no idea what software are you using so it's hard to point you the right direction.

You baiscally the need the arch to be a complete shape - connect the bottom of the arch and proceed to create a line - so that the entire shape is a rectangle but with the arch bit at the top.
Fill the entire shape as White.
That's it.

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

I am using Illustrator. So is this what you mean?

Thank you!
