Gimme Logo Ideas!!!

I have been learning how to use Illustrator and I thought it was about time I created a logo portfolio as logos are what I'm interested in designing.

Could you lovely people give me some made up business names for me to create a logo for.

Maybe you could even throw in a bit of a brief as to what the imaginery businesses are about.

I thought it best for others to come up with names as when I decide on one I sort of half know what design I'm doing but this way it's a blank canvas.

Seems a waste if they don't get used...

...how about offering free logo design to start up businesses and those that require a new logo, what do you think?

I will ensure that they understand that this is solely to practice your skills and to build up a portfolio, if in the end they do not want to use it then they don't have to, if it turns out well then they have received a logo free of charge.

If you fancy it then let me know, if not, we will come up with some ideas for you. :icon_smile:

Can't beat a free offer but it's hard enough starting in business so I won't take a logo for free!

yes you don't have to feel guilty! it's just my personal choice..i would jump at the chance for free logo design but i know after offering freebies myself when i started up i quickly went through customers and ended up with nobody paying at the end..oopss...i'll make sure i pay and my other website customers pay for the logo design though! get some examples on line of your work and some price guides when you're confident that you can do this type of work.

should be able to get you your first set of paying clients.
