font management

okie dokie.

i have almost 120k fonts on my system and i need to organise them is there any way to organise them in a set group etc. or even import them into photoshop/illustrator without loading the 1000's i have?

because i dont wanna go through every font individually and delete certain ones, one at a time.

there must be a way

Are you on a Mac? There used to be an excellent programme called Suitcase which meant that you could easily temporarily load fonts, or have them in groups (eg for a client) and only load that lot.

i know of suitcase i used 2 use t on my old mac

They do a Windows version of Suitcase too.

after hours of searching and testing i have finally found the best peice of software out there

NexusFont : NexusFont: Font Viewer/Manager for Windows

and if you can pay for it get hold of Suitcase Fusion 4 : Extensis  Suitcase Fusion 4 |  Features & Benefits (it has a great extention for photoshop,illustrator, indesign) were you can view your fonts in categories.
