Find a font identity or a similar Font

Hello, I'm working on a graphic project around the 1955 auto show in Paris.
I am looking for the font or a similar font that was used at the time for signs indicating automobile brands.
I searched several online font search sites from a photo, but the results were generally far from the original model.
I suspect that this will not be easy because it is very likely that this font has never been scanned or developed for computer but if you see or know one that comes closest to it, I am interested.
Thank you.
FV

I'm pretty sure the were traditionally sign painted, most likely by the same person so it'll probably be unique to them.
Although it was mid century it looks like Art Deco in style.

Scotty, you are probably right, it's why i try to see in the graphic community if one of us have any idea where i can't find a font almost similar . I had a look in the art deco style but i didn't find anything i can use.
Thank you for your answer.

I have seen very similar typefaces but I can't say I've seen the same.

These guys would learn new typestyles by copying them until they had it down and didn't need or use reference but they would naturally end up putting their own slant on them (that's not a pun by the way ;) )
