It seems Empire Direct have gone into administration today, very lucky for my sister and grandparents who received their LCD TV's early last week, after ED had their money for over 2 weeks whilst stock came in.
The extra £30 odd that they each paid for 3 years ED warranty I presume has been a complete waste of money. Makes you wonder if this was their plan all along to make some extra money knowing they would probably never have to fulfill the service.
I understand high street stores going bust but not a business that predominantely operates online, they just drop-ship, what are their overheads?
