Dreamweaver Spry Menu Bar - probs?

Hi all, todays rookie question: Have I dreamt this, or am I right in thinking there are 'issues' to do with Dreamweaver's Spry Menus for people using iPods/iPhones or certain browsers? I'd like to use one on a current job but not sure if it's going to be a bad idea. Some rather vague Googling has mentioned using Widgets but I'd rather not go down that road if I don't need to.

I've used Harry's drop down structure before, its very good! I advise you use it and style from there!
