Do I pay VAT on digital concept modeling?

I am a freelance digital CAD modeller.
Do I pay VAT on my digital concept modeling? What if my models do e for other customers are just concepts and will be never produced?

Based on your IP address you are not based in the United Kingdom therefore you will need to look at your own local laws regarding VAT.

However (this is very simplified) in the UK you would CHARGE vat to your clients for your services if you are registered to do so (you only need to be vat registered after a certain amount) and then that VAT would be paid to (in the UK) HMRC. If you are registered for VAT you can also claim VAT back.
