Delaunay Raster any ideas how it is done?

Jonathan Puckey - Delaunay Raster Hey chaps been trying to figure out how to do this for a while now and have given up on the search so wondering if any of use have any ideas, can any one tell me how it is done;???

Apparently there's a Scriptographer plugin for it, but it's not official – Delaunay Image Triangulation Brush for Illustrator with Scriptographer

You could probably imitate the effect using a gradient mesh and picking colours for the anchor points from the background image too, but it could take a while.

Thanks for that yeh i seen the brush tool not compatible with cs6 ill give the gradient mesh a go though could be onto a winner :icon_biggrin:

My apologies if i'm wrong, I have just briefly looked at your link, but isn't there an effect setting in Photoshop that does something very similar to this? And there are sliders for you to be able to alter how 'abstract' you want it.

Finally got round to getting it done done it as Paul suggested took me a while.

Yes very nice. I would push it even further and make it that bit more abstract. From a far you can't really see what you have done to the image.
