CSS Shadows on Div?

Oi mates. Is there a way to add a shadow to a div (
)? I know it is possible to add one to text with "text-shadow:;" but does that work for a div? YT:

adding it at the end of your post is not sticking it in your signature....

The signature is the bit below this, ie the bit below the horizontal line below.
