Cinema 4D viewport issues

Hello
Im trying to move the viewport left, right, up and down and it doesn't work, the yellow cross below appears every time I click and drag, does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you

Not really a cinema4D user (I use different 3D programs, not to mention a 3Dconnexion spacemouce for this type of thing) but at a guess I would say you haven't selected the button on the menu that enables you to move the viewport (or the keyboard shortcuts but I have no idea what they are).
