Buying a lead

Recently I've started receiving emails from a company offering to sell me leads to projects. The budgets seem huge for the work being requested (£3000-£4000 for a website) and so naturally I've assumed its too good to be true and the emails have been filed in the trash. However, the last 2 or 3 emails have come with a money back guarantee that states if the lead doesn't convert into a sale they'll give you a full refund. This has got me wondering if perhaps its worth a punt?

Has anyone else tried buying leads? Are they worth the £60?

I have never been offered anything like this myself, it does sound tempting but like you say, it's far too good to be true.

£60 for a potential £3000+ project, or your money back? Sounds like a win-win situation, and I'm not sure they really exist.

Saying that, if you look into the company and they seem legit, worst case scenario you'll lose £60 which isn't too bad. But I would of thought if they can really produce the goods, they'd be charging a lot more than £60.

Keep us updated :)
