Bank Base Rate Announced

Hello,

Interesting figures. Where do you all think it will go in the future? It is obviously impossible to predict.
We've just secured our mortgage for 4 years at a great rate but i don't know if we have secured it too soon.
Although there are green shoots in the economy and the housing market are confident that it is stabilising, i think come the Christmas period (essential for the high street) I can't see people spending which will hit more businesses and jobs. A similar thing happened in 79 where the economy showed signs of coming back and a few months later it was back in recession.

I'd be interested in your thoughts.
