Any free portals with relevant photos? (please advise)

Hey all,
I'm creating my first design and need to "fix" a couple of photos. They are just temporary. The design is at http://mybigdata.co.uk
Can you see the header with its distorted low-quality photo? And the photo underneath, again a distorted low-quality one?
They are approximately what I want, but at this iteration they should become hi-quality, non-distorted, good ones.
Please advise where you'd go for suitable replacements, ideally free ones without all the registration fees, etc.

They're not too low res, they're just squashed because they have a height value set for them in the CSS. Any image you replace them with will have the same issue unless you either crop the image to the correct ratio or change how they are implemented into the site. Because these aren't images that are relevant to a block of text (i.e. an image in an article) I would add them into the site as background images rather than actual inline images. Here you can specify how they are displayed through CSS.
