Animated gif's

Hi,
I've just finished a introduction course on After Effects. The tutor recommend downloading GifGun to help with processing gifs. I noticed that it's not compatible with After Effects 2021 (which is what I've got). If this is the case, does anyone recommend another plugin I can use to help with compression, looping etc ? Hope you can help. Cheers

I have done this but sometimes the gif's are large files. There's loads of ways to make the gifs smaller, but was just wondering if there was an alternative to GifGun that people use.
