adobe suites Ai PS4 ETC

Is there a major difference between the student versions of adobe and the full packages?

My pal says there is not a great deal of difference and you will just not get the support and the updates from Adobe.

As far as I was aware the only difference was the price. Everything should be exactly the same.

Nah stick with the old school

CS2 here, cannot see the point really for web graphics. Im on Dreamweaver MX too, i only use it for coding and site files/ directories so dont need CS4. Wouldnt mind but it would probably kill all our PCs so.. not for now..

Anyone still use JASC Paint Shop Pro? Classic..
