Adobe Air

I've hardly looked into it yet, but I've got a few questions.

• How easy is it to do this sort of thing?
• Is it free?
• Does it take any technical knowledge other than the normal HTML, CSS etc.?
• Can you use already coded pages or will it require too much editing?

Reason I ask is I've made a tool for that game () Football Manager and someone suggested making it available as a desktop program too.

Hey Fred you need to have a program called Adobe Flex and the Air SDK to make Adobe Air apps.. very cool if you can do it though

You can use Fluid - Free Site Specific Browser for Mac OS X Leopard for the tool you built. It's not quite the same as Adobe AIR but I'm sure that this'll be fine if it's just for you and your friend

I've never actually heard of Adobe Air what is it actualled used for? To create applications I am guessing?

Adobe air is basically a platform to run applications on your desktop. Akin to Java or flash
