I'm looking to add a 'news' section to my website where I can post updates about my work and such like. Currently I have a blog section which I try to focus entirely on articles that offer tips and advice, and also have a MailChimp email subscription list that obviously allows people to get these new articles sent directly to their inbox.
I want to add the news section and keep it separate from my articles completely, but don't want my current subscribers to start getting emails about content they didn't subscribe to when I add some updates. If I burn a new Feedburner feed for this section, and a new feed for my blog category, and then set this as the default feed in my MailChimp settings, will this ensure my subscribers aren't bothered unintentionally?
