    Logo Design Take 2

Still not actually fit for purpose. Remember, colour is your pal when it comes to trying to convey fun and activity. Some movement in the logo wouldn't go amiss either.

    Logo Design

+1. It's not saying leisure at all, in fact, it's saying 'Jail' or 'Law firm'. My old lecturer would tell you to rip it up and start again, and I'd be nodding behind him.

    Bit of advice...

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me scouting on here for a bit of advice on pricing? I'm actually in the motions of producing a 13 page website for a client, complete with customised blog and online store. The deadline for the project is the beginning of October [showroom opening] and I'm stumped...

    Brand New Logo !

It's nice, but I think I'd like it more if the pink V graphic was lowered in to the actual logo, it's blatantly a V and shouldn't cause any confusion; also it would keep with the feeling of deviation.

    X-Static Designs Logo

Slightly off topic but; I'm really loving Kent Lyons web site. Really nice approach, very well executed.

Designers - What's your favourite logo?

Spartan Logo looks brilliant, very clever.

    Double page spread

Also; 'I See My Baby Being Abused'. Good use of colour to emphasize, but still subtle enough so's not to be forceful.

Best websites for self promotion as a designer

repeatxrepeaty.com - not sure how much traffic it currently gets but it has a lot of potential for exposure - although perhaps only to a niche market, or fellow designers.

    Promotional Flyer

Have always considered the flyer route to try and drum up a bit of extra work, but never really got round to it. I had always thought that dropping them in to local wood-shops and trade shops would be an excellent way to catch sole-traders looking for stationary, van-livery and logo's to try and...

Logo Required for new Online Clothing Store £35 award.

Seconded on the showing interest. Churning out a logo for £35 is akin to a hooker turning tricks for a £5. If you feel the need to get yourself out there, you really are better off doing free work or trade-for-trade than work this cheap, because once you have done it for £35, word will spread...

    New logo

I'm guessing the crescent moon is to fit in with the nightwear side of things, yeah? I like it, in all honesty. It's not something I would throw down and claim to be brilliant, but it's nice, simple and functional. I'd agree that the A needs to be tweaked a little to make the logo look less...

    leaflet design

Second one is alot better than the first, but still not 'good'. -the O does reek of O2 :(, so much so that it might as well be an O2 flyer you've pinched. -Underlined and capitalised typeface is not a good choice. -You've mixed at least three [maybe four if the font down the side is another...

    Business card - help!

Only read the beginning of the first page on this - but I'm bursting to get at this out of sheer nastiness [I jest]! 1. It's far too dark. You're looking to catch eyes, the dark and drab colours will not only blend in with the shadows - it won't excite people, either. Brighter shade of green...

    Online Portfolio

Surely you could just use the slicing function in illustrator/Photoshop to create a graphics heavy design, then pass the html file that Illustrator/photoshop creates for you on to anyone capable of creating a good style sheet for the site. Take a look at one of the blog scripts to help you...

    logo inspiration

What about having the H as 2 sides of a rolling hills illustration? Just a grassy green with the animal's in whitespace on them, then a clean looking logotype underneath [Formata, maybe? although that may be too modern looking]?
