Alternative email clients?

Any suggestions for a slick alternative to the default Mac Mail email client? For as far back as I can remember I've been a Thunderbird user but now it feels a little too dated and 'Outlooky' for my liking, though it works perfectly to be honest.

I gave Foxmail a try a while back, and love the design and functionality, but it's not ideal – sometimes emails with attachments never leave my outbox, and emails with the same title are grouped together, which I don't want.

I looked at Inky too but for some reason it just wouldn't accept all of my email accounts so I had to ditch it.

Basically I think I want something that's nice to look at and doesn't take up too much space on screen.

I use Gmail for my business email, whatever device I'm using Android, iOS or tablet, I have full access to my emails and are synced.

I used to have Mac Mail app but this did not sync, except for leaving a copy of business email on server.

Yeah, I'm toying with the idea of Gmail especially since you can add out of office notifications. Trouble is it's linked to my Google account (good) which fills my inbox with spam from things I've signed up to or extensions I've installed (bad). Might have to just go through and unsubscribe from everything.

Been using First Class since starting in new job, quite good, works on Mac, PC, Android, iPhone etc.

And here's me completely happy to just use Workspace... May not look too fancy but has been reliable & gets the job done.

I just use outlook (hotmail) to push all my business email through. Doesn't cost anything and everything is synced instantly with lots of features.

Have you considered a fresh account on Google Apps for Business (or work or whatever they are calling it this week)? I think it's about £2.95 pcm and it's dead easy to set up.

Cheers, I think I'll look into that. Can't really argue with that price either!
