Xampp portable with Windows 7 x64 question.

I hope you don't mind but this is a general question for developers, previously all was fine on xp pro 32bit, but since I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 x64 I can not get Mysql & php to run off a stick.

Have downloaded latest version, but there is very little support for php running on x64 as yet, I could be wrong though:icon_confused:

Any thoughts as to my options? I would like to keep to the usb as a vertual server for testing as apposed to a hosting site.

    much appreciated.

Would WAMP not do the same job? I'm sure that has 64bit support (well, it's running on my Win7/64bit machine anyway).

    Hi Corrosive,

I can run xampp locally on my machine, that's not a problem
But I need to run it off a usb stick, don't think wamp has a
Portable version, will look into it.

Ah, I see. Sorry no idea about that. Tend to just run locally or on a server myself.
