    Hi Guys,

I have a friend working at A1 paper size and he's a bit worried about the font sizes he is using. What would you recommend for Headings, Sub Headings and body text? At the moment the main header is set at 110. Any comments would be great, thanks.

What's the final product. You have to design to an end. The rules for a poster are different to the rules that apply to information based documents.

Depends on how lengthy the copy is...

If its two words of five letters each , should be fine.

If it's a passage of text from Exodus or The New Gospel... then no.

Get your friend to join up and show the piece of work in question, otherwise we can't really give a fair and balanced response, it's a bit like asking "How long is this piece of string, which i'm not going to show you?".

Best thing to do is print out different font sizes (tiled together on A4 if necessary) then stick them on the wall and stand back.

  6. There's always a correct answer to that question: twice as long as half of it.
