Why are Photoshop CS5 icons so damn dark?

    Surely I'm not the only one who thinks this. I've just installed CS5 after upgrading from CS3 and the toolbar is a hell of a lot darker and less easy to distinguish icons.

    Have a look for yourself in the above image. Look at CS3 to CS5.

    Very annoying.

    Doesn't really bother me. Less contrast is easier on the eyes.
  3. You can change the brightness of the toolbars in every CS application EXCEPT Photoshop I believe. Why not in PS I don't know but it's handy in the other programs.

    I rarely use the tools palette in PS anymore. I know all the shortcuts of the tools I use frequently and I use shift to toggle between different modes from the tool.

    What version of indesign are you in robot.

    Indesign has pathfinder within object and layout window.

    There does seem to be different solutions to do the same job across the suite though
