I got this client who needs me to design a book cover but I dont know what size it needs to be..

    Please help..

    What is the pixels?
What resolution does it need to be?
Any template you got I can design on would be great as I googled it but found nothing thats good..

BTW: Its one of the normal size book covers, nothing too small

    Thanks

check out the DF book cover competition, there is some stuff in there

  3. normal book size? um I would've thought that the client would tell you the book size as it would depend on price for printing too..

here's a site though with site sizes: Wikipedia is your friend

As others have said, get the dimensions for artwork from the client, if they don't know tell them to ask their printers/publishers!?

    - Forget pixels and work in mm.
    - Print work is 300dpi

Not aware of any standard/normal size covers?
Although I don't have any experience with publishers, so maybe there are standard format sizes?!
