There's probably a query like this every now and again, but basically can anyone recommend a decent web hosting service? I'm pretty much a web design novice (I'm a graphic designer but attended a beginners web design course about a year ago) but I'm hoping to design and build myself a basic portfolio website. I'm pretty clueless about web hosting but I imagine I'll just be needing a basic package.
A former colleague recommended streamline.net but I can't believe how cheap it is - what's the catch?
