Has anyone else had problems with web fonts rendering badly on certain browsers?

At the moment, I've got problems with Futura Extra Bold getting rough around the edges on smaller sizes on PC's running Firefox and IE (recent versions). The weird thing is we have booted windows on one of the macs in the office and it renders fine!

probably cleartype being the issue rather than the browser.

It can have quite a big difference in the way browsers display fonts... personally I'm not keen on it but some people love it.

edit: you've also got 'directwrite' (part of direct x) which can change the way the font looks too.... good old microsoft (and firefox 4+) lol

I'll have a proper read of that when I'm on my work computer tomorrow. Thanks Levi!
