hey guys ,
wondering whether anyone could recommend some vintage / traditional type fonts at all??

what have people used in the past or currently working with.

Looking to work into something for a nice manufacturing logo with a vintage vibe.
 
I've got loads. I seem to collect them.
There are a lot of really good free ones around as well.

Show us an example (try searching "vintage badge").
I might be able too suggest some.
 
'Vintage' is a pretty broad church really & narrowing it down a bit would really help us to make some useful recommendations for you (are you thinking 'Victorian Circus' or '50s California'?)

If I wanted to suggest 'traditional' I'd go with something more widely used - Times New Roman, Garamond, Clarendon, Bodoni, Caslon or Cheltenham, most of which have been around for over a hundred years.
