Video library / databases

I'm about to start working on a project - a very big one at that and in the middle of researching current good/bad examples of the same sort of thing. It's basically going to involve the design of a huge video library, holding thousands of video clips relating to various things. But I can't for the life of me find any similar examples. The only thing that comes to mind and that seems to keep coming up are university library databases - that I don't have access too. I obviously want to research functionality and usability for these examples, as well as how good/bad they look.

Has anyone come across anything similar? :icon_confused:

What about film subscription services such as Lovefilm or Netflix? And BBC iPlayer and 4OD?

Is that the sort of thing you're after?
