Using After Effects

Hello there, I'd just like to know what you guys mainly use After Effects for. Do any of you ever use it for creating flash files (.swf) for web pages or do you only ever use it for television/film projects? Just wondering because I managed to create a nice little flash sequence using AE but the drawback seems to be that it has to be rasterized before being exported and thus viewable in web browsers, which increases the file size significantly. So I'd be worried that it would load far too slowly for web usage - is it best to use After Effects for parts of larger video projects only?

Personally I would only use After Effects for video processing. If you're wanting to create Flash files, use Flash. After Effects isn't designed to create interactive elements.
