Thing to keep rock solid while designing for 2015

I have been researching this topic for a while. Howevr i have come up with four things that are necessary for a good design and they are as follows :

  1. Overall Sizes
  2. Responsive Website
  3. Color Combinations
  4. A user friendly navigation
If there are anymore points that you feel chould be in the list, please suggest.
