Currently we use Basecamp and a Google docs spreadsheet to plan and mange a project - we draw up a set of tasks with start date and finish date and put on Google spreadsheet. usually something like: Design briefing 24/02/2015 - 5/03/2015 Prototypes 7/03/2015 - 15/03/2015 Amends 16/03/2015 - 23/03/15 Dev 25/03/2015 - 25/04/2015 System and UAT testing 26/04/2015 - 5/04/2015 etc. What usually happens is that no sooner is the plan drawn up it becomes out of date so we change the dates to reflect the new plan. Getting feedback out of a client within a set time period is only possible of you hold a gun to their head. Anyway, I'm not really happy with the tools so does anybody have anything better they use for the project plan which has the following features? is easy to set up and amend shows amendment history is available online shows start and finish dates shows who is responsible sends reminders allows notes to be appended That's all!
