yeh, merci beaucoup for that, srsly :)

-hand on bible- I swear I'll not alter the html :D

No worries bud, I've encoded your email address now too, this is the working version:

UPDATED

Let me know if you get an email from me, just to make sure it works.

Disclaimer: I know that's not the most secure encryption available, but given the site's size it will work just fine.

Wow, really nice of Harry to step in & help out young Tim on the coding side, nice work Harry! :)

On to the design side, I'm not 100% sure on the colours Tim, maybe you could try working on a logo to settle on 2/3 colours to use as a starting point? The simple layout/grid works nicely, so should be easy enough to apply other styles/colours/graphics to (using the CSS ;))

HTH & keep going :)
Greg

Merci beaucoup Gregula, will see which may work... although maybe it's "add-a-grey-into-main-content" moments, as Jack suggested :)

well now I know who's brains to pick about HTML :D (you wouldn't happen to know alot about PHP too would you Harry? :))

Not really I'm afraid, a bit of non DB stuff at best.

ahhh ok :) just thought i would check to make sure LOL I work almost entirely in PHP these days so its always good to have a second set of eyes for code checking sometimes :D

I like PHP, just never got into learning it much. I'm just an accessibility, semantics and font-end freak, oh and CSS Wizard, of course ;)

well naturally  I love CSS too.. but only in its applicational use with PHP :)

Haven't read the whole thread i'm afraid but i do like this one compared to your old one.

One thing that baffles me is most of the sites on there you haven't designed am I right? You just "improved" the code, what does that actually mean?

i now realise i know nothing about coding :p

Thats what i was hinting at, and in my opinion there should be more work that you've designed on there than just code improving, if you just improving code you'd be a coder/developer, but as your labelling yourself as a designer i think you should focus on filling the site with designed work.

Whether it be mocked up and just testing your skills or other ways, i think you'd benefit more by showing what you can do

Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the coding improvement, alot of it I got emails saying "Will you check my code for anything stupid", so I just removed <font> tags and all that crap, not necessarily did anything major. I didn't do the jobs for money, I just thought I could chuck it on my portfolio, being as I haven't been getting hundreds of design clients.

I'm working on random mock-ups/fake proposals, just need the time to produce them to a portfolio quality.
