Hello all, I'm new here and would like to introduce myself ( will also add a post in the Introductions )
So I'm studying Design for exhibition and I've got a question about a quote I've come across:
" Universal Expositions hold a mirror up to Society "
World fairs are ' gatherings' of different societies to look at world innovations and ideas ( first one was Hyde Park 1851 - Crystal Palace )
I'm not sure wether it means that the Expo's have different types of innovation i.e to reflect different types of people in society, or if it means it is showing society what the current trend/economic problems are ?
