Making Myself a Logo, Need Some Help!

#1
Well the title says it all I think, I am trying to make myself a logo... But, there is always a but! I have no clue as to what I should make... I am completely blank, and I mean blank... I want something unique and something that isn't just another copy of someone else's work... All ideas you can come with would be helpful... I want something that has to do with the Sharingan from Naruto Shippuden... I'll leave a few pictures to them.. :3

You can't really expect people to just come up with ideas for you...That's what we earn our living from doing.
By all meas post up some of your concepts and we'd be happy to help you along with them.

I don't want you to give me an entire idea... xD I want you to give me a idea of what I should make... Like... Ehm.. Which one of the images that I provided are not a good start point... In your professorial opinion

That's what initial sketches and thumbnails are for. Rewording it doesn't change the fact that you're asking us to make decisions for you. As a designer you need to learn to be objective as you won't always have someone to provide feedback.
Also, you might want to be wary of using something that was in a show in your "logo". That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Can I ask what the purpose of this logo is for? Why does it need to relate to Naruto?
The easiest way to start working on a logo is to take a look at some shapes that you like and what you have to work with, such as letters and shapes. Then you can think about how to combine them and try some things out on pencil and paper.
Have a go, come back and post up what you've done and we can help you further :)

Maybe it's because he likes Naruto.....
Honestly.... and I like anime.... don't base a design around an anime show that you like watching... unless of course you are the artist for the show and it's your only show...

Well, my reason for designing something around the same look as Kishi used in Naruto is because I like the show. The actually design created by him is more of a starting point than an actually final version.

No problem, we like helping people here at DF :)
So this is just a practice logo, right? I look forward to seeing some of your sketches. It may be that you've jumped the gun a little bit though, and that you'll need to go back and do a bit more studying on design principles and logo techniques. Even if that is the case we'll be around to help you, and then I'm sure in no time at all you'll be pumping out some great looking logos! :)

I'm not really familiar with "Naruto" but the roundels mostly are just a graphic which is rotated through 120 degrees and in a circle.
I'd just play with making some basic shapes and duplicate/rotate them to see what you get.
Could be fun. :D

Always remember that no one can give you creative ideas and skills in this world, because these two things are generated from human 's mind. Don't give up, think about what you can create. See and assess the designing of teh other's creativity and think about the condition that what makes this different and unique from others. If you have any creative idea then just put it on the paper with the help of pen and pencil, and then give it a shape of logo.
