Making music samples...

    I've been asked to set up a wesbite for a musician friend. We want to put some samples of his music on the site. How do I get a snippet from a track on a CD to an mp3? I think I can work out how to get that to play on the site after that...

    Can anyone help?

    Burn the CD to iTunes or similar. Then open the resultant MP3 in an audio editing application such as Audible (Free). You can snip the audio and resave as a separate MP3.
    There are other applications you can use which are free, but this is one method. :thumb:

    Actually that was easier than I thought! I used Audacity. Now for the next bit (which as I thought would be easy probably won't be!)

    For putting it onto the site you can always use something like and then embed into the site.
